Sabbath
School began at 9:15 with singing led by our
chorister, Stephanie Miller, accompanied by
Michael Andrews. Everard Smith read the
Scripture then Mr. Colville Jones prayed.
Charles "Obie" and
Patricia Burke were the Superintendents. They reminded us of the
values that we had learned at NCU and
encouraged us to look beyond our everyday
lives and become homesick for Heaven. Pastor
and Mrs. Dan Williams shared their real-life
mission adventures with us during Mission
Emphasis.
Orville Clayton, Vice-President of Religious
and Educational Affairs, coordinated the
Sabbath School lesson discussion. Other
discussion leaders were Paul Clarke, Robynne
Miller and Orley Burey.
Claudia Clayton and Divine Praise
inspired us with their beautiful music. Sabbath
School was also provided for age groups 4
- 7 and 8 - 12. |
